Other news: I’ve got  new poems forthcoming in Event and Clover, and new work in the anthology Fire on Her Tongue, just out from Two Sylvias Press. And I’m delighted to say that I’ve been invited back to The Skagit River Poetry Festival in May, which is certainly my favourite literary event, always inspiring, always fun. More on that soon, and a happy and creative New Year to all.

I also have new work in Prism International’s summer issue, and I’m delighted to be teaching poetry this fall at the University of British Columbia. It’s been a rich and productive summer, as I began intensive work on the libretto (premiere August 2 and 3, 2012!) and I find I’m listening to music in new ways–a  joyful time in many ways.
